In Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia and any other city/county in Southeast Georgia, if you are issued a Speeding citation, in addition to the potential punishment in Court and the possible increase in your insurance rates, you may be subjected to Georgia’s Super Speeder Law. If you are issued on Speeding citation while operating a vehicle on a 2-laned road, and if the Speed with which you are charged is 75 mph or faster, then you will probably receive a Super Speeder “bill” from the State of Georgia. Also, if you are travelling on a 4-laned road and you are charged with 85 mph or faster, expect to receive the Super Speeder “bill” from the State. If you do not timely pay the $200 Super Speeder fee, then your Georgia driver’s license may be suspended.
