Geographic Areas of Practice
In addition to understanding the substantive and procedural aspects of criminal and traffic law, of comparable importance is understanding the various court systems and their personnel in our region. While the law is consistent throughout the State, different Courts have different processes and procedures that can be unique to each area.
With Bulloch County being the home to portions of Interstate 16, U. S. Hwy. 301, U. S. Hwy. 80, and Ga. Hwy. 25, it is not difficult to understand why Bulloch County was designated as the 27th fastest growing county in the United States in 2011. Add the student population from three (3) colleges (Georgia Southern University, East Georgia State College, and Ogeechee Technical College) and the result is a vast number of people living and travelling in Bulloch County. Having lived in Bulloch County for over 20 years, and having attended and graduated from Georgia Southern University, Mr. Cowart is uniquely versed in his understanding and knowledge of the issues, courts and personnel in Bulloch County.
However, having lived in Southeast Georgia his entire life and having familial ties to numerous counties in Southeast Georgia, Mr. Cowart has a working knowledge of the various courts (Municipal, Probate, State and Superior) and court personnel throughout the entire region of Southeast Georgia; therefore, he can assist you in his Legal Areas of Practice not only in Bulloch County but also in numerous neighboring Counties in Southeast and Coastal Georgia (Bryan, Burke, Candler, Effingham, Emanuel, Evans, Glynn, Jenkins, McIntosh, Screven, Tattnall, Toombs, and Treutlen).
